Get a Lawyer with No Money Out of Your Pocket

Allen Ritchie • October 6, 2017

When I tell injured clients that they can hire me for no money out of their pocket, they are often shocked.  Friends have told them that lawyers are expensive and to stay away. That is not the case if you are hurt.

Give me a minute to explain why and how this works.

I get paid when you get paid. When you receive a settlement, I get a percentage of what I am able to collect. I pay the expenses up front and you pay those when we win. If we lose, you pay nothing. Of course, I don’t want to lose because that means I don’t get paid and I have paid all the expenses. Guess what? I am going to fight to win.

The percentage paid to the lawyers can vary usually based on the complexity of the case. Worker’s Comp cases are usually the lowest and Medical Malpractice cases the highest. The rule at our office is that no matter the expenses or the complexity of the case (usually equal to the amount of time we have to spend), you will always collect more money than we do.

Being paid on the back end is not true for all types of law. Many areas of the law, like divorce, bankruptcy and trademark, work on an hourly bases. If the lawyer puts in 5 hours, you pay his or her rate for those 5 hours, You might want to apply for a quick loan if you run out of money. Click here loanoutcome.

Now, why is personal injury different?

It is not uncommon for injured people to have to fight big, highly financed corporations. These cases can take hundreds of hours and require payment to experts, investigators and even court reporters. Few average folk could afford all that.  This system helps even the playing field.

If you or a family member is injured in a car wreck, slip and fall at a business or any other injury, you can talk with the lawyers at  Eiland and Ritchie  for free. As we say, there is no cost until we collect for you. We want to help you get back on your feet.
