Sally and Car Wrecks: Stay Home

Allen Ritchie • September 18, 2020

(SBG) Road Closures from Hurricane Sally

Please stay home, at least for much of today and perhaps this weekend.

The lack of traffic lights is causing major pileups on Mobile streets. That plus flooding and storm damage are simply making it unsafe for many of our neighbors.

From the calls I am getting, there may be more than 100 wrecks in our area as of Friday morning.

Because many people here on the Gulf are without power and only have cell communication, I wanted to get this message out.

You can call us if you need assistance, but for everyone’s safety, please stay home if you can.

I also suggest you log on to our TV partner WPMI News 15 here in Mobile. Bill Eiland and I will be doing what we can to assist the team in providing the latest information.
